Chamber Launching New Ambassadors Group
The Isle of Wight-Smithfield-Windsor Chamber of Commerce is launching new programs to strengthen its connection to its members and to the Isle of Wight community.
As the chamber's primary liaison to new members, the Ambassadors will play an essential role in member communication, charged with conveying member needs, questions and concerns to Chamber staff. Upon appointment Ambassadors actively promote membership in the Chamber, facilitate member networking and encourage meaningful participation in Chamber programs.
As an Ambassador, you can increase visibility and exposure for you and your company, expand your client base and contacts, and enhance your career through strategic networking.

The purpose of the Ambassadors is to welcome and recruit new chamber members, act as goodwill representatives at chamber functions, and aid in the support of chamber members.
The Ambassadors are dedicated volunteers who have been selected to represent the Chamber of Commerce in our community and at chamber sponsored events because of their commitment and involvement in the chamber. This group will provide information, mentorship, and support for new members of the Chamber. Attendance at Chamber functions will help promote the benefits of the organization to potential and new members. Becoming an Ambassador opens an opportunity to connect with other individuals on a professional basis. Ambassadors are a crucial link between the Chamber and its members and help foster an active business environment.
